Abstract: 

This study was investigated organic (glucose, cholesterol, total protein and albumin) and ionic (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium and potassium) composition of the OVARIAN FLUID and blood serum of 6 males (mean weight 424. 37± 37. 84 g and mean length 36. 19± 1. 32 cm) and 9 females (mean weight 1225. 87± 89. 47 g and mean length 50. 5± 0. 6 cm) of snow trout Schizothorax zarudnyi broods. Also, the sperm motility duration in combination of seminal FLUID with 0, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 and 100% of OVARIAN FLUID was measured. The OVARIAN FLUID solution alone (100%) did not increase sperm motility. The shortest duration of sperm motility (44. 67± 0. 56 s) with pure water and the highest duration of motility (67± 5. 37 s) was obtained by combining 55% water and 45% OVARIAN FLUID that showed significant different with groups contain 0, 15, 30 and 60% of the OVARIAN FLUID (P<0. 05). There were differences in the composition of OVARIAN FLUID, semen and blood serum. With the exception of magnesium, all other parameters of the female blood and OVARIAN FLUID and all male blood and semen parameters were significantly different. Inaddition, there was a significant difference in the glucose, and total protein between blood serum of males and females. Comparison composition of the OVARIAN FLUID, seminal FLUID and blood serum of female and male broods showed the highest glucose and total protein in blood male serum, highest cholesterol and sodium in female and male blood serum, highest calcium in female blood serum, lowest magnesium and highest potassium in seminal FLUID. The results showed increasing of the sperm motility duration with OVARIAN FLUID at median concentrations in the activation medium. Also, the results revealed a possible important female contribution to sperm motility enhancement during the fertilization process in S. zarudnyi.

Abstract: 

Background: Regarding the prevalence and high mortality rate of OVARIAN cancers, importance of markers to determine OVARIAN malignancies earlier, considerable experimental evidence about serum Gonadotropins to cyst FLUID ratio with pathology of OVARIAN tumors and finally not enough experiments in our country, the present study was performed in Imam Hossein hospital between 2008 and 2010.Methods: This study was cross-sectional and performed in patients operated because of OVARIAN mass. Their serum samples and cyst FLUID obtained at the time of laparotomy and histopathologic diagnosis was established after removal of the tumor. FSH and LH concentration were measured in serum and tumor FLUID based on Micro particle Enzyme Immunoassay technology in Imam Hossein laboratory. Ratios of them were determined in four pathologic groups (simple cyst, benign, borderline and malignant) and statistical comparison was done with the Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U-test.Results: We studied 100 patients with OVARIAN mass but pathology of 79 patients was epithelial tumors and simple cysts. The most common mass were simple cysts (48.1%) and then benign tumors (27.8%), malignant tumors (16.5%) and borderline tumors (7.6%). Serum FSH / tumor FLUID ratios were in simple cysts (21.1±53.8), benign tumors (50.7±174.9), borderline tumors (1.5±0.7) and malignant tumors (1.9±1.9) (P<0.001) and serum LH/tumor FLUID ratios were in simple cysts (12.1±26.5), benign tumors (20.0±29.1), borderline tumors (2.6±2.3) and malignant tumors (2.8±3.7) (P<0.002).Conclusion: Our findings suggest that serum gonadotropins / tumor FLUID ratio can be used as a tumor marker for identification of OVARIAN tumors. Also serum gonadotropins / tumor FLUID ratio could be of value in differential diagnosis of OVARIAN tumors after determination normal and abnormal cut off point and ratios of them.

Abstract: 

Motility parameters of the spermatozoa in most fish species spawning in fresh water like Rutilus kutum lasts for a short time after activation. OVARIAN FLUID significantly influenced sperm motility (motility duration period) and percent motility (progressive forward motile sperm). Both of these variables generally increased as the concentration of OVARIAN FLUID increased from 33% to 50%, respectively. It is concluded that OVARIAN FLUID enhances sperm movement in this species at appropriate level and thus has the potential to influence fertilization capacity.

Abstract: 

In order to determine viability of unfertilized eggs of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) out of body cavity, eggs obtained from three females were stored in three different treatment media for three time periods of 0 , 24, 48 hours at 10-11°C. In the first treatment medium, 15ml of unfertilized eggs from each female were stored separately on plates. For the second treatment medium, 5ml of eggs from each female were obtained, mixed together, and stored on plates. In the final treatment medium, eggs were obtained like in the first treatment but (100Iu/mL) penicilin and (0.1mg/mL) streptomycin sulfate were added to each plate. Maximum eyeing was observed in treatment medium containing antibiotics and at all time periods of storage. In all treatment media, at storage time periods of 24 and 48hrs, percent eyings was more than that in freshly fertilized control eggs. Although, there wasn’t any significant difference observed between eyeing percent in control as to separate and mixed eggs, but in times periods of 24, 48 hrs, percent eyeing in mixed stored eggs was significantly more than that in separately stored eggs. According to results obtained in this experiment, unfertilized eggs of rainbow trout can be held in coelomic FLUID out of body cavity for at least 48 hrs without need for any special technology.

Abstract: 

Background: Given the association between cervicovaginal microbiota and OVC, we investigated the effect of E. faecium CM on OVC (Caov-4) cells. Methods: CM was obtained from the bacterium E. faecium isolated from the vagina of healthy women. The Caov-4 cells were treated with varying concentrations of CM that comprised co-cultured bacteria with 0. 2, 0. 5, 1, 1. 5, and 2 OD for 12, 24, and 48 h. The apoptosis and growth of cancer cells were evaluated by DAPI staining, flow cytometry, and DNA laddering assay. Moreover, the expression of PTEN, BAX, BCL2, and AKT1 genes were analyzed using real-time PCR. Results: The CM at a concentration of 0. 5 OD from the cultured bacteria and incubation time of 48 h showed the highest negative effect on the viability of cancer cells. The CM treatment increased DNA fragmentation and also induced apoptosis in Caov-4 cells. Interestingly, CM could decrease the expression of proapoptotic genes were less, while antiapoptotic genes were more than 5-FU in the presence of CM. Conclusion: CM of human-derived E. faecium could have an anticancer effect on OVC cells in a concentration-and time-dependent manner. This study demonstrated that E. faecium secretes anticancer substances into the CM, which could directly affect the viability and apoptosis of cancer cells.

Abstract: 

زمینه و هدف: این تحقیق به بررسی نحوه پراکنش آلاینده های ناشی از سناریو اشتعال انبار نفت با استفاده از نرم افزار انسیس فلوینت پرداخته است و برای اولین بار در کشور سناریوهای خطرناک و غیرمنتظره انفجار و اشتعال در سایت های نفتی را با استفاده ازاین نرم افزار مورد بررسی قرار داده و هدفش حفظ دارایی ها جانی و مالی مناطق اطراف انبار نفت است. مواد و روش ها: به منظور تعیین میزان آلاینده های حاصل از سوختن مخازن، از نرم افزار Ansys Fluent 15 استفاده شد. این نرم افزار پارامترهای موثر سرعت، جهت باد، دمای محیط، میزان انتشار آلاینده ها و پایداری جو را درنظرگرفته و می تواند غلظت آلاینده های گوناگون را در فواصل مختلف از انبارها پیش بینی نماید. نتایج خروجی این نرم افزار وارد محیط مشینگ شد و درنهایت نقشه پراکندگی آلودگی در محدوده ای به وسعت چهار کیلومتر تا ارتفاع 200 متر به دست آمد. یافته ها: در این پژوهش، تاثیر اشتعال و انفجار انبار نفت بر روی محیط زیست و محیط مسکونی اطراف محوطه انبار مورد تحلیل عددی قرار گرفت. با توجه به جمع بندی نتایج در شرایط بحرانی که سرعت وزش باد بالا باشد، جهت وزش باد تاثیر بسزایی در مناطق تحت تاثیر خواهد داشت، بطوری که افزایش دمای تا حدود 60 درجه سلسیوس و بالاتر و نیز غلظت آلاینده های CO, CO2, NOX, SO2 همگی در فواصلی حدود 800 متر تا یک کیلومتر در مناطق انبار غله کرج، شهرک بنفشه، رزکان نو، محوطه راه آهن کرج، سرحدآباد و شهرک وحدت با توجه به جهت وزش باد به میزان 30 تا 40 درصد بالاتر از استاندارد، مورد انتظار است. نتیجه گیری: نتایج این تحقیق نشان داد اگر آتش سوزی در مخازن رخ دهد. مناطق مسکونی و صنعتی مختلفی در مسیر پخش و پراکنش آلودگی بسیار بالاتر از حد استاندارد می باشند. با توجه به شدت آلودگی تولیدشده و وسعت مناطق درگیر بیماری های تنفسی، خسارت های جانی و مالی قابل پیش بینی است.
